Okay, so we all live on the coast anyway, but we’ll shortly be off to Hastings to compete for a place at next summer’s O2 Wireless Festival.

If you can’t make it to Hastings this weekend, Left Hand Red are playing at the Pavilion Tavern in Brighton on Thursday 9th November. We’re playing in the middle slot, so will be onstage from around 21:15 to 21:45.
Also playing are Last Days OF Lorca and Eddyfink.
Entry is free and drinks are cheap!

Left Hand Red are one of 20 bands selected to battle it out at the White Rock Theatre, Hastings for the chance to play at the O2 Wireless Festival 2007. Heat times are still to be announced but will run from 4:30 - 10:00pm Friday 10th Nov and 10:00am - 2:30pm Saturday 11th Nov with six bands being selected to go through to the final on Saturday 11th at 19:30 - 10:00pm.
Public entry to the heats is £3.50 and £5.00 for the final. Although the winners will be chosen by a panel of five industry judges, support is always welcome so come along if you can!
The winner of the final will play at the O2 Wireless Festival which this year featured bands such as The Strokes, The Raconteurs and Dirty Pretty Things.

The October edition of The Brighton source magazine had this to say about Left Hand Red…
